Tie Rod Ends

Function: The primary function of tie rods and center links is to transmit the steering desires of the driver to both front wheels. The sockets allow the linkage parts to have freedomof movement

Socket Designs

Features and Benefits: DPI sockets feature a dual bearing design which distributes wear to two surfaces slowing the overall wear rate for maximum service life.

Ball studs contain nickel, chrome and molydenum for toughness.

Constant torque and low end movement is assured through use of hardened steel upper ball seat and a tough nylon lower ball seat in the full ball design. Automatic wear take-up is provided by the pre-load spring and spring seat utilized in half ball designs.
